Application Analyst (f/m/d)

The department Digital - Business Solutions at our Headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany is looking for an Application Analyst (f/m/d) to support the integration and maintenance of our global time and attendance application and other HR related products and help our internal customers in making best use of them.

It doesn’t matter to us if you have a university degree or many years of experience – as long as you are passionate about IT, motivated to bring in fresh ideas and having a customer-first mindset, you are the right person for us.

Your next challenge

  • Lead or support roll-out projects and perform configuration activities of our group Time & Attendance and Travel & Expense solutions
  • Identify, evaluate and resolve business systems related issues and communicate effectively with our internal customers around them
  • Take care about Release Management and patch impact analysis of products in your area of responsibility
  • Participate in the quality assurance/testing of applications to ensure zero degradation of service while keeping the technical documentations up to date
  • Contribute towards effective vendor management

Your profile

  • At least three years of experience in IT systems support, IT operations or similar role ideally in the area of human resources, time & attendance or travel & expenses
  • Understanding of highly complex IT environments especially regarding interfacing to other solutions like SAP HCM is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and technical skills quickly
  • Pro-active and methodical working style with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Passionate to serve our internal customers by making their lives easier with our IT solutions
  • High analytical, communicative and organizational skills
  • Structured and target-oriented working style, assertiveness with clear focus on rapid implementation
  • Ability to work in an international team with emphasis on service orientation
  • Very good English language skills. German language skills would be beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally occasionally
